🌟 Welcome to Ghumakkadi Foundation

At Ghumakkadi Foundation, we believe in creating a world that is greener, more inclusive, and full of opportunities for all. Founded with the vision of empowering communities, protecting the environment, and promoting social inclusion, we bring together volunteers, youth, and partners to make a tangible impact.

About Us – Ghumakkadi Foundation

At Ghumakkadi Foundation, we believe learning goes beyond books. True education comes from experiences, exploration, and connecting with the world around us. What started as a small community initiative with children in local neighborhoods has today grown into a registered NGO that blends travel, informal education, and social development to empower children and youth.

Our journey began when a simple picnic to a nearby park turned into an eye-opening learning experience. Children collected leaves, stones, and other objects, shared stories, and connected their findings with classroom learning. This sparked the idea that education should not be confined to four walls but should be lived, felt, and experienced. From weekly park visits to exploring Delhi’s heritage sites, our group soon grew to over a hundred enthusiastic children and youth. After nearly a decade of community-led learning, we formalized our efforts into Ghumakkadi Foundation to expand our impact.
